George Rogers Clark - 3'X5' Nylon Flag (sewn)

Designed for outdoor use, these beautiful long-wearing flags are crafted from the highest quality 200-denier nylon. This flag features sewn green and red stripes. Attaching to a pole is easy with the canvas header and brass grommets. The hem on the fly end of the flag features 4 lock stitched rows to help prevent premature fraying. The authentic designs are based on information from official sources.

Originally designed by Captain Leonard Helm, who held Fort Sackville this flag was most likely never actually used by George Rogers Clark.  Of all the flags which may have been used during Clark's Illinois campaign, the 13-striped, red and green banner is the only banner historically documented, and was one of the first "American Flags" flown in the modern State of Indiana. Even though Clark, himself, probably never used it, the flag bears his name and is often flown at events in Indiana and Illinois to represent Clark's historic ties with those states.
