This flag was the predecessor to the red and white Cross of Burgundy flag. It was flown by the conquistadors during the reign of Isabella I of Castile (1474-1504) and the red and yellow colors were used to honor her. This flag is constructed of 100% heavy duty nylon material and is made in the USA!
